Deacon Robert & Linda Sibley

Deacon Robert Sibley and his beloved wife, Linda, are esteemed pillars of the Lake Como Church of Christ community, having been dedicated members since 1980. Celebrating 40 years of marriage, their union has been blessed with two children and three grandchildren, embodying a beautiful example of faith and family values.

Throughout his tenure at Lake Como, Deacon Sibley has served with distinction as the Deacon Chair, where his leadership has been instrumental in guiding the church through various phases of growth and spiritual development. In addition to his role as Deacon Chair, he also fulfills the vital role of Congregational Care Minister, a testament to his deep commitment to the well-being and spiritual health of the church family.

Together, Robert and Linda Sibley's enduring faith, service, and dedication to the church community reflect their commitment to living out the gospel and serving others with love and compassion. They continue to be a source of strength, inspiration, and guidance for the Lake Como Church of Christ family.

Deacon Cyrus & Kelly Thompson

Deacon Cyrus Thompson and his wife, Keleia, have been a cherished part of the Lake Como Church of Christ since 2011. Their 25-year marriage has been blessed with three children and one grandchild, showcasing a vibrant family life that mirrors their commitment both to their family and their faith community.

Cyrus serves the church in a multifaceted capacity, bringing his skills and passion to his role as the Facilities Coordinator, ensuring the church's physical environment supports its mission and activities. His dedication extends into the Education Ministry, where he plays a crucial role in shaping the church's educational programs and initiatives, fostering a culture of learning and spiritual growth among members of all ages. Additionally, his involvement with the Worship Teams highlights his commitment to enhancing the worship experience, contributing to the spiritual atmosphere that defines the Lake Como Church of Christ.

Together, Cyrus and Keleia Thompson embody the spirit of service and dedication, making significant contributions to the church's mission through their active involvement in various ministries. Their commitment to the church and its community serves as an inspiring example of faith in action.

Marc Holmes

Marc Holmes serves as the Worship Minister at Lake Como Church of Christ, where he leads the congregation in meaningful, Christ-centered worship. With a heart for service and a deep respect for the role of worship in the life of the church, Marc approaches ministry with humility, preparation, and intentionality.

Marc believes that worship is more than music—it is a response to God that unites the body, prepares hearts for the Word, and reflects reverence for who God is. Under his leadership, the Worship Team is committed to creating an atmosphere that encourages participation, spiritual reflection, and genuine praise rather than performance.

Through prayerful leadership, collaboration, and consistency, Marc works to ensure that each worship experience aligns with Scripture and supports the broader mission of Lake Como Church. His desire is to see the congregation grow in unity and devotion as they worship God together in spirit and in truth.

Patrick Marcel Thomas, DBA

Executive Minister

Dr. Thomas has been a faithful part of the Lake Como Church of Christ family since 1970, serving the congregation across multiple generations with a deep commitment to spiritual growth, organizational excellence, and community impact. His life of service reflects a passion for strengthening both the church and the broader Lake Como community.

Patrick currently serves as Executive Minister, providing leadership in church operations, strategic planning, education coordination, human resources, and campus management. His background in business administration and executive leadership enables him to help steward the church’s resources with wisdom and purpose while supporting the congregation’s mission to seek God and serve people.

He has also faithfully served in youth ministry since 2000, mentoring and guiding young people through teaching, discipleship, and leadership development. His work with youth reflects his belief that investing in the next generation is essential to the long-term spiritual health and future leadership of the church.

In addition to his administrative and pastoral responsibilities, Patrick has contributed to the spiritual life of the congregation through music as a member of the worship team, helping lead the church in meaningful worship experiences.

Dr. Thomas holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and earned his Doctorate in Business Administration in Finance in 2026, further equipping him to provide strategic leadership in both ministry and community development initiatives.

Beyond his church leadership, Patrick serves as Executive Director of Lake Commissioned Economic & Community Development Corporation (LC ECDC), a nonprofit organization focused on workforce development, youth mentorship, housing stability, and economic empowerment within the community. He also serves as Board President of the Lake Como Church of Christ Community of Hope, helping guide outreach and service initiatives that extend the church’s impact beyond its campus.

His lifelong dedication to Lake Como is evident through his servant leadership, strategic vision, and unwavering commitment to building a church and community that honors God and supports people. Dr. Thomas remains devoted to helping the congregation grow in faith, unity, and purpose for generations to come.

Jackie Thomas

Operations Manager

Jacquelyn Thomas has been a cornerstone of the Lake Como Church of Christ since 1952, demonstrating unwavering dedication and a deep commitment to the church's life and activities. As a member of the worship team, Blessed, and the choral group, Golden Echoes, Jacquelyn's contributions to the church's musical ministries have enriched the spiritual experiences of countless congregants through uplifting and soulful performances.

In 2013, Jacquelyn took on the role of Church Administrator, bringing a wealth of knowledge, organizational skills, and a heart for service to the forefront of church operations. Her role is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of the church's daily activities, from administrative duties to coordinating church-wide events.

As the co-campus liaison to River Tree Academy, Jacquelyn bridges the gap between the church and educational pursuits, highlighting her dedication to fostering environments where young minds can grow and thrive within the church community.

Jacquelyn's steadfast support of all things Lake Como is evident in every aspect of her service. Her love for the church and its members shines through in her tireless work, making her an invaluable member of the Lake Como Church of Christ family. Her legacy is one of devotion, service, and a deep-rooted belief in the church's mission to seek God and serve people.
