Pastor Jarvis & First Lady April Davis

Jarvis Deon Davis is a native of Macon, Georgia, and the proud son of John (Jr.) and Vernice Davis. Since August 2019, he has shared life and ministry with his wife, April, his strongest encourager and partner in purpose. They are the joyful parents of one daughter, Cayleigh.

Called to preach in March 2011, Pastor Davis serves with conviction, compassion, and theological depth. He holds a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Lancaster Bible College (PA) and is pursuing a Master of Divinity at the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University (VA).

Since November 2023, Pastor Davis has led the Lake Como Church of Christ in Fort Worth, Texas, in the heart of the historic Como district — a vibrant, resilient African-American community. His preaching is characterized by a commitment to spiritual formation and social transformation, rooted in the gospel's call to justice, love, and hope.

Pastor Davis has also shared the gospel internationally, including ministry engagements in South Africa. These cross-cultural experiences continue to enrich his pastoral imagination and deepen his commitment to a global vision of the Church's mission.

Grounded in Scripture and guided by grace, Pastor Davis strives to live a life of faithful witness, serving God's people with humility, purpose, and a heart for local and global impact.
